Raleigh Showcase January 18th!

How exciting is this?  Carolina Ballroom of Cary has invited the Carolina Dancesport here in Charleston to be a part of their annual show at the Cary Performing Arts Center in Cary, North Carolina!  As the date approaches, the instructors and their students are working hard to polish and perfect their routines.  The Dancers will be staying at the Doubletree Inn for the duration and there will be all kinds of fun!  The dancers from CDSC participating are Sharon Campbell, Betty Stacks, “Mimi” Millicent Softy, Susan Brock, Mary Davis, Audrey Baugh, Kyle Cox, Jaime Emerine and of course Josh “Pork-chop” Ortiz!  Mary is dancing a fabulous Waltz to Il Vollo, Audrey is dancing to Jump Jive and Wail, Sharon is doing West Coast Swing to a Reba Macintyre song, Betty is dancing a sultry Bolero and Mimi is doing her 2-man number that brought down the house from the musical “Swing” You ain’t got a thing!  It should be a super night and a really fun weekend to boot!  We wish them all the best luck.  The show will be Friday night followed by a dance party for all the performers and then Saturday evening the CDSC Crew is going “Out on the Town” dancing the night away at some of the areas hottest night spots.
