What to expect in a Zumba Fitness Class
Zumba Fitness is all about “ditching the workout and joining the party!” Zumba is Latin inspired dance fitness program that combines rhythms and music from around the world to create a calorie torching workout that doesn’t feel like exercise. In a typical Zumba class, you’ll experience a multitude of dance flavors, including salsa, merengue, hip-hop, cumbia, reggaeton, samba, Bollywood, and African beats. NO DANCE EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. These moves are authentic but easy and broken down so that even the most inexperienced dancer can join in. DITCH THE WORKOUT…JOIN THE PARTY!
Zumbatomic! Zumba for Kids
Zumbatomic is a Zumba program intended specifically for kids. This program is designed to inspire kids of all ages through dance to get up, get moving, have fun, and develop a healthy outlook on life. A Zumbatomic class includes dancing as well as several interactive games. If you’re looking for a fun and healthy activity for your child, Zumbatomic is a great fit. These classes are appropriate for kids ages 4 – 12. Kids should wear light, comfortable clothing and tennis/dance shoes.
Monica has been a licensed Zumba Fitness instructor since March of 2010 and she is certified to teach Zumba Fitness and Zumbatomic. She has participated in multiple Zumba master-classes and attended the 2011 Zumba Instructor Convention where she took classes from Zumba creator Beto Perez, as well as other dance leaders from around the world. Monica loves how Zumba makes her students feel confident, sexy, and most importantly, healthy! Monica is a classically trained dancer, with a background in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, ballroom, latin and musical theatre styles.
